Learn to Lift
Mondays 4:30pm - 5:30pm
The "Learn to Lift" program is a specialized class designed to introduce athletes to the fundamentals of safe and effective strength training. This comprehensive program is tailored to educate participants about proper weightlifting techniques, promote physical fitness, Injury prevention and foster a positive attitude towards exercise and health.
Program Objectives:

Fundamental Techniques: Participants will learn the correct techniques for various weightlifting exercises, focusing on form and posture to ensure safety and prevent injuries.

Building Confidence: The program aims to instill self-confidence in athletes by teaching them how to safely engage in strength training, helping them feel more comfortable in a gym environment.

Physical Strength: Participants will gradually build muscle strength and improve overall physical fitness through structured weightlifting routines and exercises.

Safety Education: Participants will be educated on the importance of warm-up routines, cool-down exercises, and the proper use of equipment to reduce the risk of injuries.

Body Awareness: Develop a better understanding of your bodies and its capabilities, helping you to set realistic fitness goals and make informed decisions about their health.
Instructors: The program will be led by certified personal trainer, Hannah Menge.
Requirements:

No prior weightlifting experience is necessary.

Comfortable workout attire and athletic shoes are required (no crocs).
